Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies so you can sign in and use the site safely.

• Session / authentication: keeps you signed in and protects against cross-site request forgery. Without it you cannot log in.
• Language preference: remembers your chosen interface language.
• Administration (admins only): when an administrator uses the “act as” feature to support a user, short-lived cookies record that context.

These are all first-party, strictly necessary cookies. Because they are essential to provide the service you requested, they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules.

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves on Nordic Surgery Lab’s own server in the EU (analytics.nordicsurgerylab.com). It sets no cookies and stores nothing else on your device (no local storage), uses no cross-site tracking and does not store your IP address. A visit is identified only by a daily-rotating, irreversible hash of IP address, browser and website. We record page views and anonymous product events (for example “case published”) without any personal data, and the data is not shared with third parties. Because nothing is stored on your device, no cookie consent is required under the Danish cookie rules (ePrivacy §3 / Cookiebekendtgørelsen). You can object to this processing by emailing privacy@jpbrs.com.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which may set its own cookies on its checkout pages to process your payment securely. Uploaded images are served from our EU object storage. We do not embed advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in. For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
